Still Life

From photos of a real pear ...To virtual polygon model ...

To flattened pattern generated in headus UVLayout, printed onto aluminium ...Then laser cut and hand folded to make the pear sculpture.

 The final "Still Life" piece references the NURBS surface wireframe as a welded metal frame. The partial decorative covering references one of my early tableware design for Australian Fine China based on a interpretation of the Willow pattern.
